Site visit at Alfa Laval in Lund: Experience first-hand the power of heat transfer
What can be done to increase energy efficiency?
Alfa Laval invites you to our on-site event where you will get a first-hand experience of the technology that saves 50 gigawatts yearly (a power consumption equivalent to 13 million homes).
- In 2016, the world would have used 12% more energy had it not been for energy efficiency improvements - equivalent to adding another EU in the global energy market
- Over 68% of the world’s energy use is still not covered by efficiency codes or standards
Sustainable and efficient energy consumption is essential to reaching climate goals, but is still a challenge for many stakeholders. Don’t miss the opportunity to network with your peers at Alfa Laval’s global headquarters in Lund - the world’s largest production site for plate heat exchangers vital for increasing energy-efficiency. With the aid of our heat exchangers, the energy efficiency in these processes can be increased by between 10 and 50 per cent.
Join experts and peers at the on-site event at Alfa Laval’s global headquarters.
Practical information
The event takes place at Alfa Laval's Headquarters in Lund on: May 23, 17.30-20.30

From waste to star
After the on-site visit, finger food from Bloom in the Park will be served. At the Michelin-rated restaurant no food goes to waste. The chefs are meticulously efficient - what doesn’t end up on your plate or in the broth ends up in the compost and is returned to the farmer.

Magnus Edmen on saving 50 gigawatts
Northern lights recycled = 50 gigawatts*
*50,000,000,000 watts.
That’s the power needed to run all the homes in the whole Nordic region. For comparison, it is also the total power that Alfa Laval’s high-technology heat exchangers save all year round in industries all over the world.
Talk about alternative energy use!
